Please contact the partnering organization where you originally obtained the
certificate to get an updated form. VSP doctors will not honor expired certificates. |

Can my child use a gift certificate for an exam only and then later in the year get another certificate for glasses? |

No. Families are issued one gift certificate per child in a 12-month period. |

My child used a Sight for Students gift certificate several months ago and now the glasses are broken/lost. Can I get a new pair of glasses? |

A child can only receive one pair of glasses in a 12 month period. |

How much longer will this program be offered? |

VSP remains firmly committed to Sight for Students and doesn't foresee any change
in its commitment to the program. |

Can you give me names of other organizations that help children because I have a
child that needs glasses but doesn't qualify under your program? |

You can check with your local Lions Club or Vision USA, a program of the American
Optometric Association. |

My child has insurance that covers only the examination. Would s/he qualify for glasses under Sight for Students? |

No. If the child has coverage for a portion of vision insurance, s/he would not qualify for assistance through Sight for Students. |
