Becoming a Partner

Sight for Students gift certificates are distributed through the following community partners:

YMCA of the USA - The YMCA is the largest nonprofit community service organization in the country. The organization offers hundreds of programs to the 16 million men, women and children it serves, including health programs, child care and job training.

Boys & Girls Club of America - The Boys & Girls Clubs of America provide comprehensive, character building programs to some three million youth nationwide, with an emphasis on those from disadvantaged circumstances. Key programs emphasize character and leadership development, career enhancement, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness and recreation.

Head Start - The goal of Head Start is to promote the social competence of children by providing them with educational, health and nutritional services and preparing them to succeed in school. The program serves children between the ages of three and five from families that meet federal poverty guidelines.

NACHC - The National Association of Community Health Centers is the leading membership organization representing the nation's network of front-line community health care centers. Founded in 1971, NACHC provides services and technical assistance to health centers in support of their mission to provide health care services to the poor and medically under served.

National Association of School Nurses (NASN) - The National Association of School Nurses improves the health and educational success of children and youth by developing and providing leadership to advance school nursing practice.

Regional Partners:

Communities in Schools - The organization brings existing resources, services, parents and volunteers into schools to work with children. Communities in Schools' mission is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools to help young people successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life. The organization serves more than 500,000 children each year nationally through four national offices and 21 state offices.
Prevent Blindness America - Prevent Blindness America is the nation's leading volunteer eye health and safety organization dedicated to saving sight. With national offices and regional offices in 19 states, the organization serves millions of people each year through public and professional education, community and patient services programs and outreach.
National Council of La Raza -This organization is dedicated to reducing poverty and discrimination and improving life opportunities for Hispanic Americans. The National Council of La Raza reaches more than two million people nationally each year through various community-based programs, especially those serving low income and disadvantaged Hispanics.

If you operate out of a local affiliate of one of our national partners you are welcome to apply to distribute Sight for Student gift certificates.

Due to the fact that Sight for Students is operating at above capacity, we are not accepting new community partners.

VSP does not distribute any gift certificates directly to individuals.
